ERBO Engineering is committed to making our website accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, which also aligns with the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and EN 301 549.
Conformance status
This website is fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. "Fully conformant" means the content fully meets the accessibility standard without any exceptions, with the single documented limitation below.
Known limitations
The interactive 3D PCB visualisation on the home page is decorative. It is exposed to assistive technology as an image with a text description of what it shows. Its drag-to-rotate interaction is not keyboard-accessible; no information conveyed by the animation is required to use any part of the site, and the description provides a complete text alternative.
Compatibility
The site is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack), in combination with their supported assistive technologies.
Assessment approach
Conformance was assessed by a combination of automated testing
(axe-core via Playwright against
every route on every build candidate) and manual review (keyboard-only
navigation, screen-reader smoke testing, reduced-motion, 200% zoom,
colour-contrast verification). The most recent full audit is documented in
our repository.
Feedback
We welcome reports of accessibility barriers. If you find something that isn't usable, please let us know and we will aim to respond within ten working days.
Enforcement
If our response to your feedback is unsatisfactory, you can contact the Dutch supervisory body responsible for accessibility complaints under the European Accessibility Act.
